Welcome to our campus SLA PURWODADI..

Kebutuhan sekolah lanjutan berasrama dipandang sebagai salah satu prioritas gereja dalam mengembangkan sistem pendidikan yang akan membangun pemuda – pemudi menjadi Adventist yang setiawan di kemudian hari. Sebagai perwujudan visi para pimpinan dalam hal ini, oleh organisasi Gereja Masehi Advent Hari Ketujuh, Jawa Kawasan Timur telah memulai satu program pendidikan berasrama, mula–mula di Sukorejo, tanggal 1 Februari 1967. Sebanyak 24 siswa terdaftar saat pembukaan sekolah itu. Lima tahun kemudian sekolah itu pindah ke lokasi baru di desa Purwodadi yang terletak di pinggir jalan menuju Malang. Sebidang tanah yang luasnya ±11,60 hektar telah dibeli dan diatas mana telah dibangun ruang belajar, dapur dan ruang makan, asrama pria dan wanita, rumah – rumah guru dan staff, perkantoran dan kegiatan operasional sekolah dimulai di lokasi yang baru itu bulan September 1972.

Sekolah Lanjutan Advent Purwodadi yang terdiri dari unit Sekolah Lanjutan Tingkat Pertama dan Sekolah Lanjutan Tingkat Atas, telah mendapat pengakuan dari Pemerintah Republik Indonesia sebagai satu sekolah yang terakreditasi oleh Departemen Pendidikan Nasional. Pada bulan Agustus 2012.
